Yes, you have read that right, now you can travel to Europe from USA in just $70. Wow airlines announced that their daily flights from the West Coast to Europe will start from $69.99, on Tuesday the tickets went on sale, and their website showed that there were still seats available for selected destinations as of 2 p.m. The fares are good for flights from Jan. 15, 2017, to April 5, 2017.

The tickets will be available from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to Stockholm(ARN), Copenhagen(CPH), Bristol(BRS) and Edinburgh(EDI).

But the return flights appeared to be at regular price, with a ticket back from Edinburgh, for example, costing between $199.99 and $219.99, as per the website showed.

"WOW airline's goal is to help everybody to fly to Europe by offering them the lowest fares in the market," Skúli Mogensen, the airline's founder and CEO, said in the release. That it was an excitement to be driven by the change in the industry and to encourage the market by offering the super low price fare across the Atlantic.  Mogensen was feeling very proud that they were offering $69.99 USD fares, he also said that they were giving the chance to thousands of people to travel, who could not afford the face."

The Wow airlines was launched in November 2011 and the airline services 31 destinations across the Northern America and Europe with Reykjavik, Iceland's capital, the release stated. In 2016 WOW airlines flew 1,668,773 passengers in total, which is an increase of 130% from 2015.
