The wholesome Credit for the Beyonce's stunning and also beautiful henna art, that Beyonce flaunted on her baby shower, goes to an Indian-origin celebrity henna artist named Deepali Deshpande.
Deepali, a henna artist based in Los Angeles, has previously worked with Shay Mitchell, Evan Rachel Wood and also Pia Mia, said that working with Queen Bey was a dream come true for herself, reported the Billboard.
Deepali got a phone call from the Beyonce's team just the night before her baby shower about performing henna on her belly in the next morning. They liked Deepali’s Instagram and then hired her after making sure that she use the natural henna with good quality essential oils.
I was thrilled and could not believe that the incident was actually happening until I met Beyonce. I have worked with many celebrities, but Queen Bey was my dream client. I was honored as I was able to adorn her belly on the special day of her, said Deepali.
To complete the design Deepali took two and half hours. Apart from the henna, the artist has used skin-safe body paint for the Beyonce's belly design in order to add dimension to it and also to compliment the African tribal face art.
"Beyonce showed me what style she liked from my portfolio and explained what symmetry she likes, but she gave me the freedom to create my own design.”
"She preferred bold geometrical elements of Moroccan designs with Indian traditional filler patterns inside and around the main composition. The design I created for Beyonce is a fusion of traditional Indian and Moroccan style," Beyonce said.
