Super talented actor Vijay Devarakonda scored a massive hit with Pelli Choopulu last year. The actor has been lined up with interesting films currently and pinned all his hopes on his next film titled Arjun Reddy. The movie made huge noise before the release after the trailer and the songs have been out. The trailer striked hard so much it managed to get huge openings all over. Arjun Reddy released on August 25th and the movie received exceptional response from youth. The film has been appreciated for the bold content and stupendous narration. Vijay Devarakonda’s acting skills have been widely appreciated by the audience.

Arjun Reddy landed into controversy after senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao asked the government to ban the film because of the cuss words used throughout the film. He even objected the kissing episodes that come throughout the film and he said that such movies can spoil youth. The movie has been running with packed houses across the cities and in USA the movie crossed 1 million USD mark in just four days. The movie landed up into a new trouble after a young director named Nagaraj complained that the film has been inspired from his shortfilm.

Nagaraj wanted a compensation of Rs 2 crores for copying his concept from the short film ‘Ika Selav’. He issued notices to Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director of Arjun Reddy. Nagaraj said that Arjun Reddy should be banned for copying his concept. He even said that will approach the court if not answered by the team of Arjun Reddy. Vijay Devarakonda and Sandeep have been widely applauded for their work. Produced by Bhadrakali Films, Arjun Reddy has been made on a budget of Rs 5 crores. The movie is expected to collect Rs 25 crores in its final run across the world.
