A terrible incident has shocked the people in and around Palm area of Los Angeles. A series of shooting at three locations within a span of 10 minutes has left one man dead and four others wounded, while condition of one is stated to be critical.
Police are trying to find out the culprit behind this shooting.
Two schools have been shut down in wake of the shooting and police forces have been staffed around the place.
According to the police, shots were heard around 3 p.m near Woodbine Park, at Woodbine Street and Vinton Avenue where people had gathered with their children.
When police arrived, they found a man dead and another injured.
According to LAPD Lt. John Jenal, a third shooting was heard at 7-Eleven parking lot where two more victims were shot.
Police are trying to find out firing was related with gang.
"I felt those bullets just flying over my head," said Ralph Rocha, a witness. "A whistling sound, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop! After that, boom, boom, boom, boom!"
Witness told police a white SUV with bullet holes fled from the scene.
