California Employment Development Department revealed that, the unemployment rate in the state is increased slightly in December, last year. The non-farm payroll jobs have increased by 60,400, as the figure reported.
According to the Department, the figure rate was 5.8 percent in December, while, it was 5.7 percent in the previous month. A federal survey of households shows that, there were estimated 17.9 million Californians holding jobs in December, which found a decrease of 10,000 from November.
In December, 2015, Jobs were added in 10 categories including construction & manufacturing and professional & business services. A loss of 100 jobs was reported in the Mining and logging field.
According to the Employment Development Department, around393,350 people were receiving their regular unemployment insurance benefits in December 2015, in comparison with 355,913 in the previous month and 436,034 during December 2014.
