Pre-Eclampsia

Pre-eclampsia occurs chiefly during pregnancy. It is marked by high blood pressure or hypertension in women who haven’t had high BP before. The women with this condition will have a high level of protein in their urine and often have swelling in the feet, legs, and hands.

Placenta Accreta

Placenta Accreta also occurs during pregnancy and a serious condition that occurs when the placenta grows too deeply into the uterine wall. Generally, placenta detaches from the uterus after delivery but in case of placenta accreta, a part of it is still attached to the uterus. This will lead to severe blood loss after delivery.

The only symptom for this is bleeding in the third trimester, which does not always happen. In order to get rid of placenta accreta, a woman needs a C section after delivery.
