Realme C85 5G was officially introduced in India by the Chinese phone manufacturer on Friday. This device will be available for purchase starting in early December through an online shopping site and the company's own website. It boasts a large 7,000mAh battery, which the company claims can provide 22 hours of video watching, 50 hours of voice calls, and 145 hours of listening to music. The device runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It comes in two color options and different configurations for RAM and storage. The starting price for the Realme C85 5G in India is Rs. 14,999 for the basic model that has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The highest-end version costs Rs. 16,499, which includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Sales for the phone will begin on December 1 at noon. The Realme C85 5G will be sold in Parrot Purple and Peacock Green colors through the company’s online shop and Flipkart.
The Realme C85 5G features a 6.8-inch LCD display with HD+ (720x1,570 pixels) resolution, a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, peak brightness reaching 1,200 nits, a touch sampling rate up to 180Hz, and protection from Corning Glass. It offers 100 percent sRGB, 83 percent DCI-P3 color range, 16.7 million colors, and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.4 percent. Driven by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, it includes an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The Realme C85 5G also provides up to 6GB of RAM and a total of 12GB of Dynamic RAM. Additionally, there is 128GB of built-in storage. The company states that the phone can handle up to 17 apps at once. To keep it cool, it has a vapor chamber with a heat dissipation area of 5,300 sq mm. For photography, the device is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 camera on the back, capable of recording videos at 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second. Additionally, there is an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls, which also supports 1080p video recording at 30 frames per second.
Regarding connectivity, the Realme C85 5G offers 5G, 4G LTE, a USB Type-C port, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS. The built-in sensors include a proximity sensor, an ambient light sensor, a color temperature sensor, an E-compass, an accelerometer, and a gyroscope. It also comes with IP69-rated dust and water resistance. The device is powered by a 7,000mAh battery that supports 45W SuperVOOC fast charging. According to the company, the phone can deliver 22 hours of video watching, 50 hours of calling, and 145 hours of music listening on a single charge. Its dimensions are 166.07x77.93x8.38mm, and it has a weight of approximately 215g.
