The Motorola Razr Fold was released by the company in India on Wednesday. This is the first book-style foldable device from the brand owned by Lenovo, which was first revealed globally at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2026) in March. It features an 8.1-inch internal screen and a 6.6-inch external display. The device operates on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and can come with as much as 16GB of RAM. The Motorola Razr Fold includes a 6,000mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging through a wired connection. In India, the starting price of the Motorola Razr Fold is Rs. 1,49,999 for the basic version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory. There is also a version with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, which costs Rs. 1,59,999. Additionally, the company has launched a FIFA World Cup 26 Collection of the foldable, which is priced at Rs. 1,69,999. Customers can benefit from a Rs. 10,000 instant discount from banks as part of the launch offers. They also have the option of choosing an exchange bonus for the same amount. For certain banks, there are no-cost EMI plans available for up to 18 months. Consumers who buy the foldable before June 20 will qualify for a free one-time screen replacement, valid for one year from the purchase date.

Jio users can take advantage of offers with a plan priced at Rs. 449. This package includes a three-month JioHotstar subscription, 5,000GB of storage with the Gemini Pro plan, along with extra cashback and deals from brands such as Tira, Ajio, and EaseMyTrip. The Motorola Razr Fold comes in two color options: Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White. It can be bought through Flipkart and certain retail locations throughout the country. The dual-SIM (Nano + Nano/eSIM) Motorola Razr Fold operates on Android 16-based My UX. It is guaranteed to receive up to seven upgrades for the Android operating system and seven years of security updates. The phone features a 6.6-inch (1,080x2,520 pixels) LTPO pOLED external display with a refresh rate of 165Hz and a peak brightness of 6,000 nits. The internal display is an 8.1-inch LTPO pOLED screen with 2K resolution, a refresh rate of 120Hz, peak brightness up to 6,200 nits, and protection from Ultra Thin Glass (UTG). Inside, this book-style foldable from Motorola is driven by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, combined with an Adreno A829 GPU, up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and storage options reaching up to 512GB of UFS 4.1.

For photography, the Razr Fold features a triple camera setup on the back. This setup includes a 50-megapixel main camera that has a 1/1.28-inch Sony LYTIA sensor, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the outer screen and a 20-megapixel selfie camera on the inner display. The back cameras can record videos at resolutions of up to 8K at 30 frames per second and 4K at 60 frames per second. For connectivity, it supports 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, BeiDou, NavIC, and has a USB Type-C port. The device is rated IP49 for protection. The Motorola Razr Fold is powered by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. When it is closed, it measures 160.05x73. 6x10. 04mm, and when opened, it measures 144.47x160. 05x4. 7mm. The weight of the device is 243g.
